To ensure we provide the best support for your learning journey, we offer a free fifteen-minute conversation with no required. During this, we’ll get to know the student better, discuss any challenges, and outline how we can together advance his skills. This initial chat will help us tailor our sessions to meet your individual needs effectively.

Our first step is to assess the student's current level and set clear objectives for their learning journey. We work together to establish achievable goals that align with their abilities and aspirations.

Benefit from personalized tutoring sessions that focus on individual strengths and areas for development. Through constructive feedback and actionable insights, students will progress towards proficiency in Hebrew reading and textual comprehension..

In our sessions, we prioritize parent communication through regular follow-ups to discuss progress, address concerns, and offer tailored practice suggestions, ensuring students maximize their learning. Collaboration with parents is essential for success.

  • a typical 30 minute session is $50

    for longer sessions , rates are modified accordingly

  • sessions done over zoom are interactive, using whiteboard and tools to create an interactive, multi- sensory expeience

  • Generally, we suggest 2 sessions a week for any specific period.

Meet Rabbi Backman

Rabbi Backman has worked as a Rebbi at Cheder Oholei Chinuch in Buenos Aires, Argentina, teaching Chumash and Mishna for over 20 years.

Throughout his career, he has consistently researched and advanced understanding of effective learning and teaching methods, classroom management, and student participation.

About ten years ago, he relocated with his family to the United States, where he specialized in Keriah.

Rabbi Backman has taken various courses and gained extensive experience working with students facing various degrees of Kriah difficulties.

Currently, he serves as a specialty tutor at Cheder Chabad of Monsey, where he helps children overcome their Keriah challenges and build their skills in Chumash, Mishna, and Gemara.

In addition to working with students, Rabbi Backman also coaches parents and educators.
